Who are Les Suprêmes?

They are exceptional young ladies that have a common passion, <skating>. These skaters found in synchronized skating not only a way to excel as athletes but also a team sport that brings them discipline, friendship and pride, all that, enhanced by fabulous trips.

What to say about their enthusiasm? Time and time again, they have been able to display it along with their amazing artistic talent be it for the benefit of spectators or for their faithful parents.

This being said, they are not the only masters of their success. The high caliber of their performance is the fruit of sustained effort and incredible creativity from the coaches, choreographers as well as any person working with each team. Let's not forget the generous contributors and tireless volunteers that work with great affection towards the skaters.

With all the efforts deployed by the skaters, the highest levels of the discipline are not accessible without the constant support of the parents, team chaperones, volunteers and donators. Therefore, we want to thank everyone who helps Les Suprêmes reach their goals.

We would like to thank you for your support and wish great and well deserved success to all our teams.

2010-2011 Season

Les Suprêmes have another exciting season of synchronized skating on its way.  All 5 teams are in full swing with yet another array of innovative programs, creative musical pieces and magnificent signature dresses.

The Elementary, Juvenile, Novice and Junior teams have had full rosters as of Spring/Summer 2010.  The Supremes Senior team has a strong team of 18 returning and new skaters.  The team is of high calibre essential to the National Team delegation.  Like all other North-American Senior teams, we have had our share of recruitment challenges, for this reason, we continue to recruit motivated skaters interested in a fulfilling senior experience.  Assignments to international competitions for the Junior and Senior teams should be announced within the next few weeks.  Les Supremes are well positioned to successfully represent Canada on the international scene in 2010/2011.

We have a team of international level coaches and a group of highly qualified experts in the following areas: physical training, artistic presentation and choreography, ballet, nutrition, sport- psychology, anti-doping, everything that is required to help the athletes’ development.  This professional environment, unmatched in Quebec, has enabled Les Supremes to be proud participants in highly competitive events on an annual basis.

Our coaches

Elementary: Kareen and Nancy Massé

Juvenile: Linda Sbrissa and Sandra Rinaldi

Novice: Angela Malorni and Laura Viglione

Junior: Marilyn Langlois (assisted by Pascal Denis and Amélie Brochu)

Senior: Marilyn Langlois (assisted by Pascal Denis and Amélie Brochu)

Our team of specialists: Pascal Denis, Marilyn Luis, Kathy Mc Craw and Lorraine Ostiguy.

We often hear that skaters hesitate to join Les Supremes due to the high dues and costs.  In fact, they are not more than elsewhere and often less expensive compared to other elite competitive synchronized skating teams who compete at an international level.  Below you will find the cost breakdown for a typical year:

  • The fees identified below include; training with the list of coaches and specialty experts listed above for one year (spring, summer, fall/winter), ice rentals, an off-site training camp, seminars with experts like Anne Schelter and Sylvie Fréchette, monitoring with international judges, Canadian Championships, etc.:
    • Junior = $4600
    • Senior = $6100
  • In addition, costs for an International competition or World Championships (including, flight, bus transportation, lodging, coaches and additional ice) are:
    • Junior = $1600-2000
    • Senior = $1700-2100
